The story started at NAMM 2024. Uriah walked into the RKM booth, picked up an instrument that happened to be there — Custom Bass IV — played it, and decided he wanted it. No long planning process, no spec sheet back and forth. Just a player and a bass that clicked. That instrument went home with him. La historia comenzó en NAMM 2024. A 4-string built around feel and longevity. The Parota body — a single piece — gives the instrument a warmth and resonance that is hard to manufacture; it has to be chosen. Birdseye Maple neck and fingerboard deliver clarity and response without being clinical. The Lindy Fralin Split Jazz pickups give it the character and the noise rejection a working bassist needs, while the Sadowsky VTC preamp — kept at 9v — adds just enough warmth and presence without coloring the natural voice of the wood. Brass nut, Luminlay side dots, Hipshot Kickass bridge and Ultralite tuners. Matte polyurethane finish. At 3.5 kg, it hangs light and plays long.
